The Business Journal — October 23, 2015

National retailer Kirkland’s Inc. will open its second Fresno store in the Marketplace at El Paseo on Nov. 7.

The specialty home decor store offers decorative items, gifts and seasonal merchandise. Doors open at 9 a.m. on Nov. 7 and the first 50 shoppers will receive a $10 Kirkland’s gift card and a sachet. All grand opening attendees will also have the chance to win one of two $50 Kirkland’s gift cards.

“Expanding to the Marketplace at El Paseo is a great opportunity for Kirkland’s. This makes our 24th store in California,” said Michelle Graul, executive vice president of stores and merchandising. “Customers will find incredible value in our home decor and gift items, as well as a specialty shopping experience.”

The new store will employ approximately 35 people and is the fourth to open in the Central Valley. Kirkland’s has locations in the Clovis Crossing shopping center in Clovis, Packwood Creek West in Visalia and the Villagio Shopping Center in Fresno.

Founded in 1966, Kirkland’s now has 367 stores across 35 states.
