Costco plans to move to new location in northwest Fresno

Fresno, CA (KFSN)-Costco is preparing for a major change in northwestern Fresno. The company hopes to relocate its show and Golden State locations to Herndon and Highway 99, opposite the El Paseo marketplace.
The city of Fresno is planning a virtual meeting on November 2nd to begin an environmental review of the project and has questions about its impact on traffic in the area.
Company officials say the new location will offer more pumps for larger Costco stores and their gas stations.
The new location also comes with a car wash available to members.
The existing Costco will be deprecated and will remain open until new businesses enter the market.
