Clovis Sprouts store to open in February, create 100 jobs

Sprouts Farmers Market will open its second area store in the Trading Post Shopping Center in Clovis on Feb. 17, 2016. Sprouts Farmers Market will open its first Clovis location on Feb. 17, 2016.

The 28,000-square-foot grocery store will be located at 850 Herndon Ave. in the Trading Post Shopping Center, taking over the space previously used by Save Mart. The facility will be the second to open in the Central Valley. Sprouts opened a location in north Fresno in 2013.

The company is currently in the process of hiring for the Clovis location and the new site is expected to create 100 full- and part-time jobs. Positions include department managers, clerks, cashiers and courtesy clerks.

Sprouts stores focus on providing a healthy approach to grocery shopping, and potential team members are encouraged to share a passion for healthy eating.

Natural and organic products are heavily featured throughout Sprouts stores including gluten-free options. Sprouts also offer on-site butchers, eclectic beer and wine selections and fresh-baked goods.
