Gryphon Capital was given the opportunity to work with an exciting new concept for the online retailer Amazon and help them expand in the region. Gryphon acquired this property as a vacant building on Whittier Boulevard in 2021 and redeveloped it as an Amazon Go, part of a chain of convenience stores in the United States and the United Kingdom. Gryphon then sold it in 2022.
